Developed new business for both on-air advertisements and event marketing by targeting first-time radio advertisers through cold calling. Sold advertisements packaged across multiple stations, formats and demographics. Achieved my first sale before even completing the required CBS sales training. Created my own custom sales presentations, one-sheets, and PowerPoint slide shows catered to each client’s business. Negotiated rates and packages for small businesses, large corporations, and non-profit groups, taking in to account the client’s budget, my sales goals, and station advertising inventory. Exceeded all sales goals and sold more first-time radio advertisers into our events than any other account executive.
Developed and designed all marketing collateral for various business financial management products and internet services offered by the company. Assisted in creating an internet program that enabled the electronic distribution of marketing materials. Designed and maintained the company website, product website and several client websites.
